Dr. and Mrs. Clifford Randolph Tillman of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Madeline Tillman to Robert Albright Greer Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Albright Greer Sr. of Mobile, Ala. and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Joseph Meng III of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Trinity Episcopal High School in Natchez, a graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and, most recently, received a degree in the culinary arts from the Art Institute of Charleston, in Charleston, S.C.

She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Sarah Tillman and the late Dr. Clifford Tillman of Natchez and the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wiley Combs of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Trinity Episcopal High School in Natchez, a graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and Mississippi College, in Jackson, where he received a master of science in biological and medical sciences. He is currently a third-year student at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Barton Greer Jr. of Mobile, Ala. and the late Mrs. Betty Bell Greer and the late Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Rhodes Jones.

The wedding will be 6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, at St. Mary Basilica in Natchez.

A reception will follow at Glen Auburn.
