NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Bettye Vernice Hitchcock, 67, of Natchez, who died Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, at the University Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 1 p.m. Friday, at Rosetta Cemetery.

Burial will follow in the Rosetta Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at the funeral home.

Hitchcock was born Sept. 6, 1946, the daughter of Charles J. and Velma Sturdivant Hitchcock. She lived in Natchez most of her life.

She was employed at Armstrong Tire & Rubber Company in 1966. She also worked at Diamond National locally for seven years.

She was a Christian and was saved by God’s grace in 1973.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Dolores Todd; and one nephew, Joseph Partridge.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna Morrow and husband, Jim, and Kay Logan and husband, Richard; four grandchildren, Thomas Morrow, Kathleen Morrow, Annie Megan Logan and Delton Logan; one sister, Wanda McKnight; two nieces, Lynn Reeves and Velma Sullivan; and one great nephew, Landon.

Pallbearers will be Landon Partridge, Walter Reeves, Kyle William, Keith Partridge, Charles Reeves and Richard Logan.
