Six locals receive All-MAIS honors

NATCHEZ — Two players from MAIS Class A state champion Trinity Episcopal along with one player from Adams County Christian School and three players from Class AA runner-up Centreville Academy were recently named to the 2013 All-MAIS Football Team.
Junior Quinton Logan of Trinity Episcopal was named to the second team offense at tight end and senior Michael Whitley made the second team offense as a return specialist. ACCS senior Matthew Rymer was named to the second team defense at linebacker.
Centreville senior Colby Shaw was named to the first team offense at wide receiver. He was the only area player named to either first team offense or first team defense. Junior Brian Arnett made second team offense as an offensive lineman. Senior Brandon Arnett made second team defense as a defensive lineman.
