NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Everett Wayne Finley, 66, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013 at his residence, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Basilica with the Rev. David O’Connor officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be noon until time of services Tuesday at the church.

Mr. Finley was born Nov. 16, 1947, in Delhi, La., the son of Ernest Roy Finley and Lenora Bell Welch Finley. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Nell Zuccaro; father-in law, Anthony “Bubber” Zuccaro; sister-in-law Suzanne Zuccaro, and a niece, Sarah Zuccaro.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Finley; one son, John Finley of Natchez; one daughter, Carol Ann Marshall and husband Duane; two step-children, Jason Rushing and Amy Cox and husband, Ashley, all of Natchez; two grandchildren, Brittany Finley and Blake Finley; two step-grandchildren, Kolby Cox and Will Cox; two brothers, Ronnie Finley and wife Barbara of New Iberia, La., and Don Finley and wife Lisa of Vidalia; three sisters, Kathy Smith and husband George of Ridgeland, Ernie Latham and husband Tom of Natchez and Lisa Coley and husband Kevin of Vidalia; four brothers-in-law, Edward Zuccaro, Bill Zuccaro, Charles Zuccaro and wife Jolynn and Paul Zuccaro, all of Natchez; one sister-in-law, Alison Godfrey and husband Jay of Natchez; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Richard Zuccaro, John Huff, Chad Finley, Ernie Finley, Jay Godfrey and Ashley Cox.

Honorary pallbearers will be Blake Finley, Kolby Cox, Will Cox and Dru Godfrey.
