WOODVILLE— Funeral services for Samuel Fountain, 77, of Woodville, who died Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, at Wilkinson County Senior Care in Meadville, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mark Baptist Church with the Rev. Roosevelt Palmer.

Burial will follow in Ceder Rest Cemetery under the direction of Anderson Funeral Home in Gloster.

Mr. Fountain was born on April 15, 1936, the son of Henry and Nellie Fountain.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include one son, James Ray Fountain of Baton Rouge; two daughters, Irestine Fountain and Dorestine Scott, both of Baton Rouge; two brothers, Willie Fountain and Clyde Fountain, both of Woodville; three sisters, Classie Burkes of Woodville, Vera William and Luverda Fountain, both of Baton Rouge; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
