Mr. and Mrs. Craig Ellis of Maramec, Okla., announce the engagement of their daughter, Chelsea Lee Ellis to Lee Edward Swinny, the son of Lisa Swinny and Aaron Bryant and the late Dabney Swinny of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Pawnee High School in Pawnee, Okla., and is a graduate of Northeastern State University where she received a bachelor’s of science degree in nutrition.

She is currently pursuing a masters of environmental management degree at Columbia Southeastern University.

She serves as a senior airman in the U.S. Air Force and is stationed in Little Rock, Ark.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Ellis of Maramec, Okla., and Glenda M. Wood of Pawnee, Okla., and the late Dan Jennings also of Pawnee.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Adams County Christian School and attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College. He is currently pursing a bachelor’s degree in human resources from Ashford University.

He serves as a senior airman in the U.S. Air Force and is stationed in Anchorage, Alaska.

He is the grandson of Mrs. Betty Swinny and the late James Swinny, Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Bryant and the late Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Loyed Sr. all of Natchez.

The wedding will be 7 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, in Terlton, Okla.
