NATCHEZ — Services for Mark D. “Smiley” Baroni, 46, of Vidalia, who died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at Baton Rouge General Hospital, will be at noon today at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Hinson officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mr. Baroni was born July 21, 1967, in Natchez, the son of Mario Baroni Jr. and Mary Margaret Sebille Baroni.

He was a long time employee of Plains Marketing.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Baroni.

Survivors include his father; four brothers, Mario Baroni III and wife, Anita, Charles Baroni and wife, Kathy, Tommy Baroni, all of Natchez and David Baroni and wife, Diane, of Covington, Ga.; one sister, Vickie Folds and husband, Mike, of Natchez; a special friend, JoAnn Kornegay; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Michael Baroni, Billy Baroni, Mike Folds Jr., Ryan Baroni, Lane Baroni, Matthew Rymer, Parker Rymer and Gabe Rushing.
