FERRIDAY— Memorial services for Margueritte L. Reed, 81, of Ridgecrest, who died Dec. 23, 2013, at Riverland Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ridgecrest Baptist Church.

Services will be under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Mrs. Reed was born Dec. 29, 1931, in Baskin, the daughter of Lonnie Keys and Rosa Keys.

Mrs. Reed was a resident of Ridgecrest and a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, David Reed; one sister, Betty Harrelson; and one brother, Roger Keys.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years; Clifton Paul Reed, of Ridgecrest; one daughter, Paula Roper and husband, Butch, of Tomball, Texas; one son, Randy Reed and wife, Annie, of Macon, Ga., two grandchildren, Courtney Perry and husband, John, of Shreveport and Andrew Reed and wife, Courtney, of Atlanta; three great-grandchildren, Trey Smith, Marshall Perry and Jodi Perry; one brother, Kenneth Keys and wife, Maurice, of West Monroe; one sister, Joy Arnold, of Bryan, Texas; and a number of nieces and nephews.
