VIDALIA — Services for Sarah Ann Cupit, 55, of Vidalia, who died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013,will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Vidalia First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill McCullin officiating.

Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Young’s Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cupit was born Jan. 22, 1958, the daughter of Shelby and Georgia Arthur.

She was preceded in death by her father; one son, Michael Shain Cupit; and two brothers, Harry Arthur and Marion Arthur.

Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Glenn Cupit, of Vidalia; one son, Bradley Cupit and wife, Addie, of Hayden, Ala.; mother Georgia Arthur, of Knoxville, Tenn.; one brother, Tommy Arthur, of Knoxville, half-sister, Joann Harper, of Vidalia; and grandchildren, Tyler Cupit, Collin Cupit, Stone Cupit, Alden Cupit and Madalyn Cupit.

Pallbearers will be Dickey Cupit, Richard Cupit, Tyler Cupit, Anthony Cupit, Bryan Robinson and Martin Geoghegan.
