NATCHEZ — Services for Debrah Faye Webb, 61, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La., will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Bart Walker officiating.
Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Webb was born Sept. 30, 1952, in Natchez, the daughter of William C. Guthrie and Annie Belle Smith Guthrie.
She loved to write poetry, paint, arrange flowers, sing, teach and do crafts with preschoolers, play piano and volunteer as a Sunday school teacher.
She and her husband, Nathaniel Lee Webb, celebrated 40 years of marriage on July 20, 2013.
Survivors include her husband; her parents, of Leslie, Ark.; three daughters, Rebecca Denise Newbaker and husband, Thomas, of Hattiesburg, Virginia Berling and husband, Greg, and Candice Webb, all of Fairhope, Ala.; six grandchildren, Rachel Newbaker, Paige Newbaker, Nathan Newbaker, Caleb Newbaker, Jessica Berling and Conner Berling; two brothers, William “Billy” Guthrie Jr. and wife, Pat, of Leslie, Ark., and Glenn Guthrie and wife, Miriam, of Florence, S.C.; brother-in-law, Wayne Webb and wife, Beth, of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be family and church friends.
Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
