NATCHEZ — Services for Mary Frances Wilson, 78, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Daylon Hicks and the Rev. George Bove´ officiating.
Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wilson was born Oct. 2, 1935, in Franklin County, the daughter of William Linton Burris and Josie Mae Henderson Burris.
She was a longtime member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church and will be missed by all of her friends and family.
Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Nolan Wilson; and one brother, William Burris.
Survivors include three sons, Charles Thomas Wilson and wife, Stephanie, of McCall Creek, Dwight Wilson and wife, Patti, of North Richland Hills, Texas, and Purvis Wilson and wife Shannon, of Natchez; eight grandchildren, Deren Cooke, Jeremy Wilson, Jessica Brozowski, Tara Vincent, Jonathan Wilson, Jacob Wilson, Jessie Carroll Wilson and Katie Wilson; four great-grandchildren, Jaden Cooke, Theory Wilson, Isaiah Brzozowski and Ireland Brzozowski; one sister, Joy Butler, of Tulsa; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Steven Wilson, Jimmy Butler Jr., Justin Vincent, Shannon Butler, Georgie Atwood and Herbert Braswell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathan Wilson and Jacob Wilson.
