Brittney Lohmiller / The Natchez Democrat — Kelly Wilson, left, lines up his put while Harry Davis places his marker on the 17th hole at Duncan Park Golf Course Friday. Wilson and Davis started playing at 10 a.m. It was Davis’ first time playing golf in four months because of the weather. “At first, I thought it was the dumbest game,” said Davis, who has been playing for more than 20 years. “You hit a little white ball and then walk. It looked easy, so a friend of mine lent me his clubs and it was a lot harder (than I thought) .” With a high today expected to reach the mid-60s, there may be more golfing weather ahead.
