NATCHEZ — Trey Fleming and Brandon Brooks scored 12 points each to lead a balanced scoring attack for Adams County Christian School as the Rebels annihilated the Prentiss Christian School Saints 88-39 in an MAIS District 5-AA game Friday night.
ACCS took it to Prentiss Christian from the opening tip and for the most part did not let up. The Rebels’ defense held the hapless Saints to single-digit scoring in three of the four quarters. The Saints scored 15 points in the second quarter after being held to just eight points in the first quarter, but they still trailed the Rebels 46-23 at halftime.
Lester Wells added 10 points while Jay Fleming and Sneh Patel chipped in with eight points each for the Rebels, who outscored the Saints a combined 42-16 in the second half.
ACCS (13-2, 3-1) next plays at Centreville Academy at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
