FERRIDAY — Memorial services for Walter David Hall, 62, of Vidalia, who died Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at Riverland Medical Center, will be held at a later date under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mr. Hall was born on Oct. 12, 1951, in Wichita Falls, Texas, the son of Walter Jefferson Hall and Jackie Spears Hall.
Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sharon Diane Hall; two brothers, Wayne Hall and Johnny Hall; and one sister, Sandra Nickerbocker.
Survivors include two sons, Tray Burr and his wife, Mindy, of Ferriday and Chris Burr of Vidalia; one daughter Lisa Cupstid and her husband, Mark, of Mendenhall; five grandsons, Taylor Everett, Landon Everett, Michael Everett, Hunter Keene, and Jackson Burr; three granddaughters, Emily Everett, Ava Case Burr, and Maddy Murray; two sisters, Lauvatis Harrison and Linda Hall; mother-in-law, Nell Cooper of Vidalia; and a number of nieces and nephews.
