NATCHEZ — Services for Johnnie F. Carney, 86, of Natchez, who died Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Darrell Crawford officiating.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Gardens in Laurel under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Carney was born Aug. 7, 1927, in Pike County, the daughter of Dempsey Freeman and Susan Halford Freeman.

She retired from Armstrong Tire and Rubber Co. in Natchez after after 35 years of service.

Mrs. Carney was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Wayne Carney; four brothers, Harvey Freeman, Rich Freeman, Vernon Freeman and Claude Freeman; and two sisters, Janelle Horn and Louetta Adams.

Survivors include three sisters, Jurlee Arrington of Chickasaw, Ala., Marie Boies of Osyka and Martha Delaughter of Laurel; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
