VICKSBURG — Services for Carolyn Reed Kaiser, 85, of Daytona Beach, Fla., who died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, in Daytona Beach, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Vicksburg.
Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Vicksburg under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Fisher Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kaiser was born March 27, 1928, in Natchez, the daughter of Bryant A. and Marguerite D. Reed.
She was a long time resident of Natchez and Vicksburg.
She loved music and played the organ in St. Paul’s Catholic Church and Christ Episcopal Church in Vicksburg. She was also employed as a Warren County judge’s assistant.
Mrs. Kaiser is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Edward W. Kaiser Sr.
Survivors include three sons, Edward W. Kaiser Jr., and wife, Sharon, of Farmington Hills, Mich., Alan B. Kaiser Sr. and wife, Mary Anne, of Grand Junction, Colo., and L. Drew Kaiser and wife, Patsy, of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; one brother, Bryant A. Reed Jr. and wife, Jean, of Natchez; one sister, Lanius Reed Fortenbery of Natchez; seven grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.
