NATCHEZ — Services for Martin “Boo” Henderson III, 83, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Jefferson Chapel A.M.E. Church with the Rev. Anthony Colenburg officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home and 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Henderson was born Aug. 12, 1930, in Natchez, the son of Martin Henderson Jr. and Mary Johnson Henderson.
He served in the U. S. Army and was a Korean War veteran. He was also a retired truck driver of Harold and Miller Distributors of Natchez.
Survivors include his wife, Ella Dee Sanders Henderson; two daughters, Jean Smith and husband, Harry, and Margie Alexander and husband, James, all of Natchez; and one son, Larry Stanton, of Natchez.
