Closures, delayed openings continuing Thursday

NATCHEZ — Weather-related closures and delayed openings are continuing in the Miss-Lou Thursday.

The following schools and offices will be closed or have delayed openings Thursday because of the weather conditions:

SCHOOLS:

• Alcorn State University’s Lorman, Natchez and Vicksburg campuses will be open Thursday

• Adams County Christian School will open at 10 a.m. Thursday

• Cathedral School will open at 10 a.m. Thursday

• Catahoula Parish School District will be closed Thursday

• Central Louisiana Technical and Community College campuses will open at noon

• Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s Natchez, Simpson and Wesson campuses will be closed Thursday.

• Concordia Parish schools will be closed for teachers and students. All administrators and extended month employees should report to their worksites by 11 a.m.

• Trinity Episcopal Day School will open at 10 a.m. Thursday

• Natchez-Adams School District will have a two-hour delayed start. All elementary schools, Robert Lewis Magnet School and the alternative school will begin at 10 a.m. Morgantown Middle School will begin at 10:15 a.m. Natchez High School will begin at 10:20 a.m.

• Hansel and Gretel CDC opened at 10:30 a.m. today.

BUSINESSES:

• Regions Bank drive thru open. Lobbies open at 9 a.m.

• The Natchez Medical Foundation Clinics, all located in the doctor’s pavilion, will open at 10 a.m.

 

OTHER:

• The Grand Village of the Natchez Indians and Historic Jefferson College will open at noon.

• Natchez National Historical Park will reopen after lunch Thursday.
