CHICAGO — Private graveside services for Kelvin “Cubie” Jones, 58, of Chicago, who died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, in Elmwood Park, Ill., will be at noon Friday in Cedar Park Cemetery.

Burial will follow in the cemetery with full military honors.

Mr. Jones was born Sept. 27, 1955, in Natchez, the son of George Cubie and Deloris “Moochie” Dorsey.

He grew up in Natchez and graduated from North Natchez-Adams High School in 1973. He relocated to Chicago and later served in the U.S. Army from 1974 to 1978. He remained in Chicago until his death.

Survivors include six siblings; two uncles; one aunt; a godmother; and a number of family and friends.
