HICKORY BLOCK — Services for Jessie Mae Lowe, 88, of Roxie, who died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at Meadville Convalescent Home, will be at noon today at Hickory Block United Methodist Union Church with the Rev. Edward Dillon officiating.

Burial will follow in Hickory Block Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mrs. Lowe was born Nov. 24, 1925, in Union Church, the daughter of Robert and Dezine Kelly Lowe.

Mrs. Lowe was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Willie Lowe; one granddaughter, Rochelle McKenzie; four brothers, Hudie Lowe, Calvin Lowe, Willie Lowe and Chalmous Lowe; two sisters, Marie Houston and Unaie M. Sanders.

Survivors include one son, Bobby Lowe and wife, Audrey; four daughters, Betty Bonds and husband, Alvin, Mary Amos and husband, John, Odessa Anderson and Catherine Butler and husband, Charles; one daughter-in-law, Debra Lowe, 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
