Mr. Trindle was born July 17, 1941, in Natchez, the son of James H. Trindle Sr. and Vivian Richards Trindle.

He was a graduate of Vidalia High School and remained in his circle of friends and classmates throughout his life. He worked in the paint and floor covering businesses most of his career. He worked for Crescent Hardwood Floors in the latter part of his life until he retired to spend time with his wife and family. According to Mr. Trindle, that was the most rewarding job he could have ever had.

Mr. Trindle was a very competitive person. He enjoyed playing golf and watching his beloved LSU teams play, and if you ever made a playful bet with him, WATCH OUT. He could win that bet without you knowing when or how he did it. Whenever he and his friends would get together, the conversations would always come around to sports. He was a walking book of knowledge about LSU sports.

Mr. Trindle will be missed by all, but especially his family. He had such a strong personality and such strong ideas about closeness of family. He loved his family to the extreme. God came to Mr. Trindle later in life, but he believed that he would take care of him and his family.

Mr. Trindle was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Mary Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Trindle of Vidalia; one son, James H. Trindle III and his wife, Gabby, of Natchitoches, La.; two daughters, Valerie Trindle of Charleston, S.C., and Miki Thompson of Vidalia; three grandchildren, James H. Trindle IV, Lindsey and Tyler Thompson; and one sister, Debbie Trindle Lesieutre and husband, Paul.

Pallbearers will be Leo Ivy, John Troendle, Bill McDonough, Barry Schaferkotter, Tom Bailey, Jim Trindle III, Paul Lesieutre and Johanna Miller.

Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Smith and Dr. Jack Rodriguez.

Mr. Trindle is with our Heavenly Father now. Let Him lead your way, and sooner or later, we will all see your beautiful face again.
