YAZOO CITY — Because of unplayable field conditions at Manchester Academy’s soccer complex after Tuesday’s heavy rain event, Wednesday afternoon’s soccer match between Adams County Christian School and Manchester Academy was canceled.
ACCS head coach Jimmy Allgood said the junior varsity and varsity games will not be made up. Allgood said because of scheduling conflicts, next Thursday’s game soccer games at Copiah Academy have also been canceled.
The 14-1-1 Rebels, champions of MAIS Class AA South District, will next play in the first round of the state playoffs, which begin Feb. 17.
