FAYETTE — Services for Clemmie Tenner, 57, of Fayette, who died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Salem Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin White officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today and from noon until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Tenner was born Oct. 7, 1954, in Jefferson County, the son of Simon and Rosie Lee Stampley Tenner.

Mr. Tenner was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Simon Tenner Jr. and Leroy Tenner; and two sisters, Ruth Cruel and Susie Cameron.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby Tenner; one son, Isreal Jones, of Fayette; three daughters, Tameka Herrington and husband, James, of Fayette, Shanta Kelly and husband, Edgar, of Atlanta, and Veronica Tenner and companion, Paris; five grandchildren; four sisters, Etta Jones and husband, John, of Tupelo, Patricia Banks, of Natchez, Dorothy Chambliss and Cassondry Tenner, both of Fayette; and a number of nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.
