FERRIDAY — Services for Dorothy Warren Mason, 79, of Ferriday, who died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James Baptist Church on Skipper Drive in Ferriday.

Burial will follow in Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Mason was born Oct. 21, 1934, in Ferriday, the daughter of Oliver and Lela Grant Warren.

She was a retired nurse’s aide.

Mrs. Mason was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Gary Mason and Clabe Mason III.

Survivors include her husband; Clabe Mason Jr.; four sons, Melvin Mason and Shaun Mason, of Ferriday, Randolph Warren and wife, Cheryl, of Baton Rouge, and Sheldon Mason, of New Orleans; one daughter, Rebecca Jones, of Ferriday; 13 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; four sisters, Ollie Broussard and Victoria Taylor, of Ferriday, Alberta Womble, of Inglewood, Calif., and Lela Warren, of Dallas; one god child, Nancy Dixon, of Alexandria, and a number of nephews and nieces.
