Jerry Wayne and Jennifer Nations of Cranfield announces the engagement of their son, Niklas “Logan” Dale Pierce to Jordan Leslie Patterson, daughter of Allison Patterson of Lees Summit, Mo., and Stephen Patterson of Wuhan, Hubei Province, China.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Lees Summit High School in Lees Summit.

She is employed by Steppin’ Out the Studio in Lees Summit.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School in Vidalia.

He is employed by the United States Navy, stationed in Pensacola.

He is the grandson of Gary Dale of Hughesville, Mo., Robert and Cathy Pierce of Sedalia, Mo. and Jerry and Diane Nations of Cranfield.

The wedding will be March 22, 2014, on the beach in Pensacola, Fla.
