PLUMERVILLE, ARK. — Memorial services for Jimmy Paul “Jim” Marks, 74, of Plumerville, Ark., formerly of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, in Morrilton, Ark., will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Portland Missionary Baptist Church in Plumerville.
Memorial services are under the direction of Rosewood Cremation.
Mr. Marks was born Oct. 5, 1939, in Faulkner County, Ark., the son of Odis and Audrey Marks.
He graduated from Plumerville High School and served four years in the U.S. Army National Guard. He enjoyed visiting with old friends and family and was eager to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Mr. Marks was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors included three sons, Paul B. Marks and wife, Sheila, of Ferriday, Philip L. Marks and wife, Sharla and Martin L. Marks and wife, JoAnn, all of Madison; three grandchildren, Cody Marks, Hunter Marks and Morgan Marks; one brother, Johnny Marks of Plumerville; one sister, Marie Hilburn of Plumerville; the mother of his children, Karen Marks; and a number of nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
