FERRIDAY — Services for Michael Luther Reeves, 60, of Union Church, who died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Young’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Randall Broom officiating.

Burial will follow in Topisaw Baptist Church Cemetery in Ruth under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Young’s Funeral Home.

Mr. Reeves was born Mar. 27, 1953, the son of John and Effie Reeves.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Sandra Reeves Biddle; one nephew, Rodney Lynn Wiley; and half-brother, Harold Moak.

He loved his 33 British Labradors.

Survivors include his wife of eight years, Mitzi; one daughter, Erin Skipper and husband, Eric, of Union Church; one step-son, Adam Hankins and wife, Brandi, of Brandon; one step-daughter, Lindsay Woodrow and husband Joey, of Crystal Springs; one sister, Norma Wiley and husband, Roger, of Vidalia; mother-in-law, Fay McDaniel of Union Church; brother-in-law, Mark Lowe and wife, Melody, of Canton; four grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren; and a number of nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers will be Adam Hankins, Lee Cox, Joey Woodrow, T.C. Cox, Skylar Cox, Zac Cox and Chris Cole.

Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Skipper, Jake Cox, Carl Roberts, Jerry Wooten, Alton Roberts, Claude Ransom, Mark Lowe and Roger Wiley.
