ROXIE — Services for Louis David Henyard Sr., 84, of Crosby, who died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014, at his daughter’s residence, in Dallas, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at East Roxie Church of Christ with the Rev. Issac Tenner officiating.
Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Henyard was born Sept. 13, 1929, in Woodville, the son of David Henyard and Learlena Crawford Henyard.
Mr. Henyard was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Henyard; his parents; one son, Tyrone Anthony Henyard; two brothers, Peter Henyard and John Henyard; and three sisters, Hannah Henyard, Mandy Henyard and Ollie Henyard.
Survivors include one son, Louis Henyard Jr., of Dallas; eight daughters, Bobbie Wilson and husband, Arthur, of Dallas, Loretta Turner, of Woodville, Margaret Owens and husband, Cleveland, of Crosby, Carolyn Harness and husband, Leslie, Jerry Knox and husband, Freddy, Verma Parker and husband, Curtis, Connie Parker and husband, Wendell, and Sabrina Henyard and companion, Dewayne, all of Dallas; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.
