FAYETTE — Services for William Henry King, 85, of Fayette, who died Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Meadville, will be at 1 p.m. today at Bell Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Terrell officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mr. King was born Oct. 31, 1928, in Jefferson County, the son of Herbert and Essie Lula King.02:22 William H. King obitpic

He was a deacon and trustee at Bell Hill United Methodist Church.

Mr. King was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Alfred King, Herbert King Jr., Ellis Lee King and Elbert King; and two sisters, Annie Mae Devaul and Anna Bess King.

Survivors include four daughters, Joyce Johnson of Dallas, Lynda King of Kissimmee, Fla., Marilyn King Besteda and husband, Sylvester, and Nakia Ewing of Chicago; two sisters, Velma King and Eretta Jones, both of Chicago; one special niece and caregiver, Letha Glass; one brother-in-law, Willie Devaul; two sister-in-laws, Mary King and Nettie Jean King; his loving companion and best friend, Yvonne Ewing of Chicago; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and a number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
