NATCHEZ — Author Brandi Perry will sign copies of her novel, “The Jury,” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Natchez Coffee Company.

The Columbia resident’s first book, “Wayward Justice,” was followed by “A Whisper on the Bayou.”

“My second (novel) is currently in the pre-production stages of becoming a film, and filming will begin in the summer of 2014 in Mississippi,” Perry said. “My third novel, “Buried Cries,” won the prestigious National Fiction Book Cover Award for 2013 and was nominated for the Mississippi Library Association’s Fiction Book of the Year in the same year.”

“The Jury” was released in November.
