MONTEREY — Services for Woodrow “Buddy” Wilson Jr., 78, of Lismore, who died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at his residence, will be at 10 a.m. today at Lismore Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Ratcliff, the Rev. Danny Cole, the Rev. John Willis, the Rev. Byron Gray and the Rev. Joel Ford officiating.

Burial will follow in Oswalt Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.

Mr. Wilson was born April 25, 1935, the son of Woodrow Wilson Sr. and Helen Wiley Wilson.

Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Gallup Wilson; one son, Todd Wilson and wife, Marcy; three daughters, Janet Willis and husband, John, Brenda Sones and husband, Rodney, Marci Waltson and husband, Danny; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Ernest Lee Wilson; one sister, Octavia Wilson Coates.

Pallbearers will be Derek Brown, Bron Brown, Garrett Walston, McKay Wilson, Justin Payne and Joe Henderson.

Honorary pallbearers will be R.T. Stockman, Greg Spinks, Meredith Poole, Cade Wilson and Call Wilson.
