NATCHEZ — Services for Louise “Lou” Myles, 77, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fatherland Baptist Church with the Rev. James Lee officiating.
Burial will follow in Sunset View Memorial Park under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Lyles was born Feb. 6, 1937, the daughter of Roosevelt and Georgia Coach Johnson.
She accepted Christ at and early age. She was Baptist.
Mrs. Lyles was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, James Johnson and Charles “Goady” Johnson; and two sisters, Logen Kingsbury and Annie Brannan.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Frank Lyles; three sons, Dewayne Johnson and wife, Velma, of Minneapolis, Minn., Frank Woods Jr. and wife Debra, New Orleans, and Michael Woods and wife, Shelia, of Natchez; one daughter, Jocelyn Everett and husband, Joe, of Jackson; three brothers, Shelly Johnson, of Minneapolis, and Oliver and Kenneth Brannan, of Natchez; one sister, Jessie Lee James; stepmother, Freddie Johnson, of Natchez; two stepsons, Frank Smith, of Louisiana, and El Smith, of Atlanta; one stepdaughter, Katie Smith, of Atlanta; one stepsister, Marva Jean Polk and husband, Herman, of Gary, Ind.; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-greatgrandchild; and a number of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
