NATCHEZ — It’s unknown if the Natchez RadioShack is one of the stores affected by this week’s announcement that the electronics chain will close 1,100 stores across the nation.

The company has not released a list of the stores expected to close since the announcement, but has said more than 4,000 stores will remain open.

A store manager at the RadioShack in the Natchez Mall referred all questions to a corporate office, and the corporate office did not return calls this week.

Natchez Mall management could not be reached for comment.
