NATCHEZ —Memorial services for Diane Mitchell Davis, 59, of Natchez, who died Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. today at Greater New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Wright Sr. officiating.

Services will be under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Ms. Davis was born Dec. 6, 1954, in Adams County, the daughter of Albert J. Mitchell and Katie M. Payne.

Ms. Davis was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Melvin Lyles Jr.

Survivors include one son, Xzavion Ragsdale; two daughters, De’Leslie Bernard and Melanie Lyles; two brothers, Albert L. Mitchell and wife, Sarah and Cyrus Mitchell; two sisters, Eva L. Hurns and husband, Andy and Patricia A. Washington and husband, Donald; one grandson, Charles Bernard; two granddaughters, Anaya Lyles and Jasmin Smith; three aunts; and a number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
