FERRIDAY — Services for Martha Ann Dupuy, 79, of Ferriday, who died Monday, March 10, 2014, at Riverland Medical Center, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Young’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Bo Swilley officiating.

Burial will follow in Heard Cemetery in Manifest under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dupuy was born April 13, 1934, in Hope, Ark., the daughter of Homer and Estell Bumpurs.

Mrs. Dupuy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tennie Joseph Dupuy; one daughter, Sharon Gail Gardner; and one brother, Carlos Bumpurs.

Survivors include eight grandsons, Charles Duncan and wife, Sara, Ronnie Duncan and wife, Amanda, Joseph Duncan and wife, Mara, Marshall Duncan and wife, Carlee, all of Monterey, Robert Duncan and wife, Amanda, of Quitman, Texas, Dakotah Duncan and Stanley Gardner and wife, Jamie, all of Jonesville, Mark Gardner and wife, Hope, of Pineville; two brothers, Douglas Bumpurs and wife, Althea, of Plaquemine and J. D. Bumpurs and wife, Cindy, of Baton Rouge; one son-in-law, Harold Gardner of Jonesville; 18 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

Pallbearers will be T-Bud Duncan, Charles Duncan, Ronnie Duncan, Robert Duncan, Joseph Duncan, Marshall Duncan and Dakotah Duncan.

Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Duncan and Blake Perrin.
