NATCHEZ — Services for Mary Louise Hawkins Alexander, 70, of Natchez, who died Sunday, March 9, 2014, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. K.E. Stanton Sr. officiating.
Burial will follow in Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Saturday until service time at the church.
Mrs. Alexander was born May 28, 1943, in Natchez, the daughter of Tommy L. Sr. and Sarah Catherine Potter Hawkins.
She was a member of the mother board and missionary society.
Mrs. Alexander was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Tommy L. Hawkins Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Bennie L. Alexander Sr.; one son Bennie L. Alexander Jr.; one brother, Alvin K. Hawkins and wife, Linda; one sister, Aradia Hawkins Sims and husband, Joseph; one brother-in-law, Richard Alexander and wife, Barbara; three sisters-in-law, Ella L. Alexander, Ethel M. Davenport and husband, Mark, and Marilyn Alexander Turner; two former sisters-in-law, Dora Prater Hawkins and Betty Williams Sewell; and a number of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.
