FERRIDAY — Funeral services for Sarah Elizabeth Ables, 27, of Vidalia, who died Thursday, March 20, 2014, in Adams County, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday with the Rev. Dewayne Thomas officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 today at Young’s Funeral Home.
Sarah was born Tuesday, Sept. 8, 1986 in Natchez, the daughter of Charles Ables and Kitty Bradford. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Jessie Lou Ables, and her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L.S. Cross.
Survivors include two daughters, Faith Jordan and Hope Jordan, and one son, Joseph Jordan, all of Vidalia; her father and his wife, Stacy, of Ferriday; her mother, of Jena; four brothers, Kyle Parker of Ferriday, Fred Quinley Jr. of Sulpher, Kail Cross of Vidalia and Zayne Bradford of Jena; two sisters, Tori Bradford and Jennifer Evans, both of Jena; step-grandparents, Travis and Patsy Hartley of Vidalia; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Parker, Fred Quinley Jr., Kail Cross, Brad Jordan, Eddie Clems and Chandler Jones.
Honorary pallbearers will be her co-workers from Old River Cleaners and Kaiser Mobile Station.
