NATCHEZ — Services for Collin Dix Doering, 29, of Natchez, who died Sunday, March 23, 2014, in Natchez, will be at 2 p.m. today at Grace United Methodist Church with the Rev. Nance Hixon officiating.
Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon today until service time at the church.
Mr. Doering was born Dec. 11, 1984, in Natchez, the son of Arthur Dix Doering and Mary Frances Hagler Doering.
He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and a 2003 graduate of Cathedral High School.
Mr. Doering was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Edward Doering and wife, Catherine Lydia; and maternal grandparents, Hermon Hagler and wife, Malzie.
Survivors include his father and companion, Lynda Blanton; his mother; one uncle, Allen Doering and wife, Linda, of Flagstaff, Ariz.; three aunts, Nancy Riley, of Bonifay, Fla., Gloria Brown, of Niceville, Fla. and Patricia Williams, of Tallahassee, Fla.; and one cousin, Brantley Doering and wife, Tammy, of Flagstaff, Ariz.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Chandler, Bart Lane, Justin Geoghegan, Patrick Biglane, Richard Zuccaro, Trey Whittington and Dylan Heard.
Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the class of 2003 at Cathedral High School, members of the RG Hunting Club, Ryan Rachal, Dixon Laird and Luke Janette.
Memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, the Natchez Adams County Humane Society, or to a charity of choice.
