BUDE — Funeral services for Lou Ellen Shelton, 76, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Adams County Nursing Center, will be 3 p.m. today at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Bude with the Rev. Jerald Williams officiating.

Burial will follow in Shelton Family Cemetery in Copiah County under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Shelton was born on June 22, 1937, in Copiah County, the daughter of James and Ellen Watson Kissel.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Shelton; her parents; grandparents; and one grandson, James Shelton.

Survivors include one daughter, Margaret Shelton; one grandson, Jerry Shelton; one great-grandson, Charlie Shelton; one sister, Mary Jane Hall; and a number of other relatives and friends.
