NATCHEZ — Services for Rosa “Grace” Granger Blanton, 61, of Natchez, who died on Monday, March 31, 2014, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Jerusalem No. 2 Baptist Church in Kingston with the Rev. Willie Anderson officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cememtery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Mrs. Blanton was born Nov. 21, 1952, in Natchez, the daughter of James and Mamie Washington Granger.

Mrs. Blanton was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Blanton; and her grandparents, Herod and Frankie Shropshire Granger, Andrew and Alice Hayes Washington.

Survivors includes her parents; one son, Anthony White and wife, Shunda; one daughter, Danielle Lewis and husband, Darrick; five grandchildren, Darrick Jr., Nyia Lewis, Anthony, Aniya and Justin White; step-granddaughter, Angela Stampley; and brothers, sisters, and other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be the Class of 1970.

Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony White, Darrick Lewis Sr., Darrick Lewis Jr., Justin White, James Granger Jr and Dr. Wesley Granger.
