Suzanne and Grady Hyde of Nashville, Chuck Fuqua and Leslie Smith both of Vidalia announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Fuqua to Larry Davis, son of Martha Goodman and Larry Southern of Newellton and the Late Lonnie Davis of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School.

She is employed by Delta Bank of Vidalia.

She is the granddaughter of the late Leslie H. and Tommie E. Smith of Lindale, Texas and Margie Fuqua and the late James Fuqua of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Pine Hills Academy in Gloster.

He is employed by Rockwater Energy in Tyler, Texas.

He is the grandson of the late Gene and Dorothy Huff of Crowville, La.

The wedding will be at 6 p.m., Saturday, April 26, 2014, at the Elks Lodge in Natchez.

A reception will follow.
