NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Robert David Cupit Jr., 77, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Glenn Hargill officiating.

Burial will follow in the cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Cupit was born Feb. 5, 1937, in Natchez, the son of R.D. Cupit Sr. and Theda Mae “Benge” Cupit.

Mr. Cupit was preceded in death by his wife, Lou Anna “Lagrange” Cupit; his parents; one daughter, Theda M. Cupit; three brothers, Earl Cupit, Don Cupit, and Danny Cupit; and one sister, Betty Glascock.

Survivors include one son, Robert D. Cupit III of Natchez; one daughter, Pam Smith of Jonesville; one sister, Shirley Lovette of Pasadena, Texas; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
