Stan and Julie Routh of Baton Rouge announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Routh to Michael Blain Jr., son of Michael and Karen Blain of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy in Baton Rouge and a graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.

She is employed by Pratt Industries in Jackson.

She is the granddaughter of L.N. and Patti Coxe of Baton Rouge and Stan and Lee Routh of Baton Rouge.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Cathedral High School in Natchez and a graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.

He is employed by the Blain Companies in Jackson.

He is the grandson of Billy and Ann Blain of Mount Olive.

The wedding will be 7 p.m., Saturday, May 3, 2014, at St. Mary Basilica in Natchez.

A reception will follow at Stanton Hall.
