NATCHEZ — Services for Sherry Rourks Wilson, 65, of Ferriday, who died Friday, April 18, 2014, at Franklin County Memorial Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. George Storms officiating.

Mrs. Wilson was born Jan. 5, 1949, in Ferriday, the daughter of Chester and Hazel Rourks.

She was a homemaker and loved by her family very much. Mrs. Wilson will be missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James “Ed” Wilson; two brothers, Bill and Jay Rourks; one sister, Evelyn Swanner; and four grandchildren, Kayla and Breana Trahern, baby Kay Kimball and Amber Chantel Elkins.

Survivors include four daughters, Shani Kilpatrick and husband, Matt, of Springs, Texas, Shonda Wollaston and husband, Ron, of Pennsylvania, Sharla Kimball and husband, Billy, of Vidalia, and Shalaina Wilson of Ferriday; two sons, James “Schroder” Wilson and wife, Michelle, of Dallas, Ga., and Jason Wilson and wife, Brittany, of Roxie; 24 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lucy Delancy of Jackson and Aggie Orcutt of Monterey; one brother, Bruce Rourks of Monterey; and a number of nieces and nephews.
