JONESVILLE — Services for Johnny Ray Osteen, 67, of Jonesville, who died Saturday, April 19, 2014, at the Veteran’s Hospital in Alexandria, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Moss Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. T. A. Baker Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery with full military honors under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Osteen was born Dec. 27, 1946, in Rhinehart, the son of Robert Osteen Sr. and Joanna Jennings Osteen.

He was a retired truck driver and U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran.

Mr. Osteen was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Robert Jr., Joseph and Eric; and two sisters, Carol and Louise Osteen.

Survivors include his wife, Norma Fisher Osteen; two sons, Kevin Osteen and wife, Lahoma, and Devin Osteen, all of Jonesville; two daughters, Contranda Osteen of Alexandria and Ebony Smith of Monroe; six grandchildren; one brother, Kennel Osteen and wife, Stephine, of Jonesville; and one sister, Betty M. Osteen of Jonesville.
