A Roxie woman died Thursday night in a single-vehicle wreck in Adams County, authorities said.
Mississippi Troop M Public Affairs Officer Rusty Boyd said Troopers responded to a single-vehicle collision on U.S. 84 near old U.S. 84 in Adams County at 9:32 p.m. Thursday.
A 2003 Ford Taurus, driven by Jacqulynn M. Taylor, 26, of 2480 Whiteapple Road in Roxie, was traveling east bound on U.S. 84., Boyd said, when the vehicle ran off the south side of the road and collided with a tree.
“Taylor was not wearing (a seat belt) at the time of the collision and was pronounced dead on scene by the Adams County coroner,” Boyd said in a release. “The cause of the collision is still under investigation.”
