Joseph Kopacz, bishop of the Jackson Catholic Diocese, sprinkles Holy Water on the newly dedicated Mississippi Historical Marker in front of Assumption Catholic Church Sunday morning. The new marker was dedicated Sunday by Bishop Kopacz, church pastor the Rev. David O’Connor and the parishioners of the church on Morgantown Road.
