MEADVILLE — Franklin County High School’s fast-pitch softball team was set to host Seminary High School for Game 2 of their MHSAA Class 3A South State Playoffs second-round series.
But the threat of some serious weather in southeast Mississippi, including strong tornadoes, forced Seminary not to travel as it let out of school at 12:30 p.m.
Therefore, Game 2 of the best-of-three series will now take place today at 4 p.m.
If there is a third and deciding game, it will follow the completion of Game 2.
Franklin County leads the series one game to none after rallying to defeat Seminary 6-4 Monday afternoon.
