Centreville victorious again

CENTREVILLE — The Centreville Academy track team continued to maintain its status of greatness Saturday as the boys won the MAIS Class AA state championship for the fourth consecutive year and the girls were runner-ups.
The boys won with a total of 138.5 point and four first place winners with Austen Addington winning in the pole vault and the 800-meter dash, John Marcus McDowell winning the 400-meter dash and Addington, McDowell, Chase Hughes and Matthew Parnell taking first in the 4×400-meter relay.
For the girls, Taylor Hurst was the lone first place winner in the 400-meter dash.
