WOODVILLE — Services for Grace Smith Hudgens, 91, of Woodville, who died Thursday, May 8, 2014, at Field Memorial Community Hospital in Centreville, will be at 11 a.m. today at Woodville Baptist Church with the Rev. Warren Whitaker Jr. and the Rev. Eugene Case officiating.

Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Newman Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mrs. Hudgens was born March 5, 1923, in Lanehart, the daughter of Morris Smith and Myrtis Hayes Smith.

She was a member of Woodville Baptist Church.

Mrs. Hudgens was preceded in by her first husband, Russell Ford; second husband, Thomas “Jack” Hudgens; her parents; one son, Marvin Ford; and three brothers, Earnest Willard, Lester and Willie Smith.

Survivors include one daughter, Martha Ann Ford Herrington of Woodville; two grandsons, Kevin Livingston of Madisonville,La., and Russ Ford of Woodville; one granddaughter, Dawn Ford Mathis and husband, Billy, of Natchez; one great-grandson, William Mathis and wife, Emily, of Flowood; four great-granddaughters, Kristen Livingston, Caroline Ford and Mallory Ford, all of Woodville, and Amanda Mathis of Oklahoma; and a number of nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Livingston, Russ Ford, Billy Mathis, Mac Fletcher, Zachary Whetstone and Dustin Whetstone.

Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Canova, David Wilkerson, Billy Joe Jones, Gene Lofton, Douglas Bell and David Littleton.
